The Translators have created a unique blend of music, filled with the passion of flamenco music and the freedom in improvisation that the contemporary jazz idiom offers. Steve Hunter is one of Australia's most accomplished electric bass players, James & Ben Hauptmann have made a big impact on the Sydney Jazz scene, (Ben recently finishing 2nd at the National Jazz Awards at The Wangaratta Festival of Jazz) and Damien Wright is at the forefront of contemporary Flamenco guitar playing in Australia.
