 Joanne Kee is the Director of Ceres Solutions. Her background includes not for profit and corporate as well as organizations ranging in size from small to large. She has worked in the arts sector for over 14 years in both the UK and Australia.
Joanne’s work experience includes a strong record of improving business operations and efficiencies in sectors ranging from finance and travel to the arts. In particular she has been able to successfully turn around small/medium sized organisations from deficit to surplus positions as well as growing audience numbers and brand awareness.
In relation to her arts work, she is working/has worked for the following organisations developing strategic directions, business, marketing, e-marketing and operational plans, analysing businesses, managing website design, recruiting and working with boards, organisational change management, corporate governance, fundraising, developing successful audience development strategies in regional and metropolitan NSW, partnership management and development, recording strategies, event, touring and venue management.
She has just completed a major viral fundraising and branding campaign for the Tasmanian Devil. www.tassiedevilappeal.org which is a first in that it works with a consortium of zoos and wildlife parks around Australia to raise money with an online campaign.
Joanne is currently working with Performing Lines and has launched Sound Travellers, a National Touring Program for sound art/electronica/ improvised jazz and contemporary classical music (seed funded by the Australia Council)
Joanne has produced and programmed a wide range of performances for Festival’s and concert series, ranging from music to physical theatre. Her company Places & Spaces produces a concert series of music focussing on improvised jazz fused with world, gypsy, pop, with its goal being to increase audiences for these genres.

Joanne graduated from the University of London in Arts management and training and has a graduate certificate in Management - University of Western Sydney.
Her experience in fundraising includes creating and implementing strategies/campaigns for conservation/research for Tasmanian Devils, Australian Marine Mammal Research and endangered frog species.
Joanne is also Director of Places & Spaces, a not for profit venture aimed at promoting the arts.
