Places and Spaces, is a not for profit association which produces arts events.
On Sunday 17 April, 2011 we launched a creative development and performance space for contemporary Australian music on Cockatoo Island.
After a successful year we are pleased to announce that the program continues in 2012.

We also took an Australian musical roadshow to South America, El Sonido de Australia with artists such as William Barton, Misinterprotato. Previous artists performing with us include Misinterprotato with Froy Aagre, Taikoz, Topology and Mark Isaacs Resurgence band. The places + spaces music series presents the finest improvised jazz in styles from traditional trios through to mixing it up with gypsy swing, grunge rock to drumming beats.
